My Story:
Welcome to my world of art and imagination! As the youngest of four siblings, too young to hang out with my older brothers and sister, I grew up forging my own path. I immersed myself in a world of boundless imagination by spending countless hours around the house, creating adventures for my Barbie dolls, building dirt castles in the yard, and fashioning stories through dress-up games – the possibilities were endless. It was during those early days that I developed a profound love for creativity and play.
My artistic journey truly took flight in third grade when my teacher Mr. Johnson introduced me to the enchanting world of Claude Monet's painting techniques and the art of texture. It was then that I realized the power of making something uniquely my own through art. Life has presented me with a tapestry of extraordinary moments, both uplifting and challenging – from childhood homelessness to unexpected loss and incredible global adventures.
Yet amidst the highs and lows of it all, creating art has been my sanctuary, a place I can always return to and rediscover myself and authentically process and express my experiences without judgment. Allowing me to transform raw emotions into something beautiful and profound, much like alchemy.
Choosing art as my career didn't always seem like a natural path but after finally surrendering it was clearly inevitable, as I long to share my creations as a source of inspiration for others to find beauty in the tapestry of their own life experiences, embracing the journey with resilience and hope.
